Abstract: The invention provides a method for providing a plurality of computer terminals where access to the computer terminals is shared between operators and customers. Revenue generating activities are directed to the customers thereby subsidizing or paying for the cost of the computer terminals. Another aspect of the invention is a computer system including the computer terminal and a server computer configured to provide and application service provider that provides access to a series of revenue generating resources to customers, and to a series of applications related to operational activities to the operator. The present invention also provides a client application resident on the computer terminals and a server application resident on the server computer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for password re-entry. In one or more embodiments, the invention is in an environment wherein a password and data are input into the same document. In one embodiment, this environment is the Internet where a web browser displays the output of a web server in a form HTML document. When returning a password, the invention generates two unique identifiers that represent the entries in two password fields. Next, the invention reconstructs the form by including previously entered data in the new form and by substituting the two unique identifiers for the password fields. In one embodiment, the user can edit the password by modifying the unique identifier string. The original text of the password remains safely on the server. If the password is edited, the server compares the unique identifier strings re-sent in the encoded web page with the returned web page.

Abstract: Wastes are placed in a container, and the container is closed by a lid having a port sealed by a disc. A cutting tool having a hollow drive stem pierces the disc. A grout slurry is fed through the stem so as to discharge into the container and embed the wastes in the grout when set. The wastes may be contained in a crate in the container, and may also take the form of a glove box which itself contains waste objects.
