    Abstract: This application relates to methods and apparatus for driving a transducer with switching drivers. A switching driver has first and second supply node for receiving supply voltages and includes an output bridge stage, a capacitor and a network of switches. The network of switches is operable in different switch states to provide different switching voltages to the output bridge stage. A controller is configured to control the switch state of the network of switches and a duty cycle of output switches of the output bridge stage based on an input signal to generate an output signal for driving the transducer.

    Abstract: Various brake control systems and methods are provided herein. In one implementation, a brake pressure control system having a shutoff valve (24) in a hydraulic conduit (26, 30) between a pressure origination source (16, 18) and a wheel brake (20), the shutoff valve selectively isolates the pressure origination source from the brake responsive to an indication that a wheel associated with the brake meets a skid condition, and an actuator assembly (28) comprising an actuator (34) that regulates fluid brake pressure after the shutoff valve isolates the pressure origination source from the brake. The actuator assembly operates independently of the shutoff valve and is coupled to the hydraulic conduit between the shutoff valve and the brake. The actuator assembly also effects displacement of the actuator for increasing and decreasing brake pressure. A controller (44) determines if the skid condition has been reached and controls the shutoff valve and the actuator assembly based upon the skid condition.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a retrofit underground storage tank (30) and method for making the same. A portion of an underground primary tank (32) its uncovered and an access opening (42) in formed therein. A plurality of trifolds (50, 120, 122, and 124) comprising three folded up and banded together panels (52, 54, 56) which are jointed together by hinges are inserted into the primary tank. A monorail or conveyor (90) is inserted into and suspended from above the primary tank (32). Trolleys (102, 104) on the monorail (90) assist in transporting the trifolds (50, 120, 122 and 124) within the primary tank (32) and then the monorail (90) is removed. Trifolds (50, 120, 122 and 124) are unbanded and unfolded and are arranged circumferentially about the tank. Jack stands are used to hold panels of the trifolds in place.

    Abstract: An aggregate material spreader which is suitable for spreading aggregate material especially concrete on driveways, roadways and other paved surfaces. Work is performed by a roller-skid assembly adequate for rolling on forms and also skidding on the ground. It may have a built-in vibrating system and screed plates to grade material off at a desired level. Because of the skid embodiment it is designed to slip form. Finally a gliding float moves over the surface smoothing out all wrinkles.Also an alternate embodiment exists with a hopper built above the spreader with a sloping top attached on at the rear of said hopper at a lower position for concrete to discharge through for a finished product.
