Abstract: Charging scheduling systems and methods for charging devices applied to at least one charging device and a cloud management module are provided for charging an electric vehicle. First, a power status of a battery module of the electric vehicle is detected through a battery detection unit of the charging device, and electricity rate data corresponding to the charging device including the electricity price of corresponding power company at different times is then obtained by cloud management module. Next, through cloud management module, at least one charging period with a lower electricity price is determined based on electricity rate data corresponding to charging device and power status to control the charging of the electric vehicle by the charging device to be performed during the determined charging period.

Abstract: A charging fee management method for electric vehicles for use in a charging device is provided, wherein the charging device can be operated in a plurality of operation modes. First, a charging request for charging an electric vehicle is received. Then, the charging device is controlled to perform a charging process for the electric vehicle according to the charging request, and calculate a charging fee for the charging process, wherein the charging fee is calculated based on charging data during the respective operation mode of the charging device and a respective charging method for each operation mode.

The power consumption for the electric vehicle charging device and the power consumption for a facility are cumulatively added to a same power meter for calculating utility bill during a billing period. First, the power consumption for the facility is monitored to obtained facility power consumption data. Time-variant electricity pricing data, specifying electricity price periods and respective electricity rates, applied to the power meter is also obtained. The charging schedule of the electric vehicle charging device is then controlled, according to the power consumption for the facility and the time-variant electricity pricing data, to perform charging process to at least one electric vehicle.
