  • Publication number: 20240112789
Abstract: A system for optimizing resource allocation includes and/or interfaces with: a set of contextual data sources; a decision-making subsystem; and a set of schedules. Additionally or alternatively, the system can optionally include and/or interface with a set of user interfaces, memory, a set of data collection, and/or any other suitable components. A method for resource optimization includes: receiving a set of inputs; and processing the set of inputs and/or contextual data with a set of models to produce a set of schedules. Additionally or alternatively, the method can include any or all of: training the set of models; pre-processing the set of inputs to supplement the set of contextual data; dynamically adjusting the set of schedules; triggering a set of actions based on the set of schedules; updating the set of models; and/or any other processes.

  • Publication number: 20230056037
Abstract: A mobile cement batch mixing plant includes at least one slurry tank, a cement storage tank, at least one slurry pump and at least one clean pump supported on a transportable frame. The slurry tanks and cement storage tank are connected by a plumbing system. The flow of water and cement slurry between the tanks and within the plumbing system is controlled by a series of valves and pump controls. A cement slurry is formed by adding water and cement to the slurry tank through a fluid vortex within the slurry tank. The cement slurry can be pumped out of the slurry tank into a well.

  • Patent number: 10130503
Abstract: An access port comprising a port body and a catheter, the port body defining a cavity into which a fluid can be delivered or extracted through one side of the port body, the catheter being in communication with the cavity and being disposed on an opposed side of the port body, thus protecting the catheter from needle stick damage. An access port comprising a port body and a catheter, the port body defining a cavity into which a fluid can be delivered or extracted from through one side of the port body, the port body being configured to extend partly through a hole in the body of a patient in which the access port is implanted and thus plug the said hole. The port body comprising integral means for anchoring the port body to the body of the patient. Also is provided a method for anchoring the access port to the hole and extracting the access port from the hole as well as the applicator, extractor and delivery sheath for anchoring and extracting the access port.

  • Patent number: 7269243
Abstract: Certain embodiments relate to a method for calibrating an imaging system having an array of detector elements arranged with respect to a reference position and having an energy source moving in a pattern to irradiate the array of detector elements. The method includes initiating estimated detector positions for the array of detector elements and an estimated motion pattern for the energy source defined with respect to a reference position. The method also includes scanning a phantom having pins located at positions in the phantom. The method further includes calculating estimated pin positions, with respect to the reference position, based on at least one of the estimated detector positions and motion pattern and modifying at least one of the estimated detector positions and pin positions based on at least two of the estimated detector positions, motion pattern and pin positions.

  • Publication number: 20050155174
Abstract: A wiper system for use with a windshield is provided and includes a wiper arm having a first and second end. The first end of the wiper arm includes a reaction surface disposed thereon while the second end includes a wiper blade biased into engagement with the windshield. In addition, a drive motor is fixedly attached to the first end of the wiper arm, whereby the drive motor includes a drive shaft operable to pivot the wiper arm across the windshield. A separator assembly is further provided and is supported by the drive shaft. The separator assembly is disposed within the arm and is operable to react against the reaction surface of the arm to selectively lift the wiper arm from engagement with the windshield.
