Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method to determine if a user had placed a wager and verify that the wager was placed before the wagering market closed in a play-by-play wagering network. This method provides the ability to receive a wager from a user and allows the wagering network to receive a timestamp from the user's device to determine if the wager was placed before the market closing. Also, this method provides the ability to verify that there is no fraud, malicious activity, or cheating from the user by verifying that through a 3rd party network, such as the user's network connecting the user to the internet, that the timestamps provided by the network are correct and allowing the user to confirm their wager if received a few moments after the market has closed.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for providing real-time surgical assistance to a surgical robot using an imaging module, a context computer module, and a quantum analysis module are disclosed. The imaging module receives one or more data related to a patient from an intra-operative database and performs a first step analysis based on the received data. The context computer module determines a type of resource required for analysis based on data received from a historical database and the intra-operative database. The quantum analysis module receives data from the imaging module and the context computer module. The quantum analysis module receives real-time data from operation room (OR) equipment and performs quantum analysis on the received data and real-time data. The quantum analysis module facilitates real-time surgical assistance and recommendations to the surgical robot.

Abstract: Robotic system and method are described for performing latency managed telesurgery. The system comprises drone(s) to create a wireless network in one or more geographic areas between a surgical site and a remote surgeon. The system further comprises a computer that is configured to: receive a request that indicates that a telesurgery is to be performed between the first location and the second location at a scheduled time; determine that one or more equipment is available for use at the surgical site for the telesurgery at the scheduled time; send a first instruction that triggers measurement of a latency of the wireless network; determine, during the telesurgery, whether the latency of the wireless network is acceptable; and send a first message that indicates that the latency is not acceptable, where an operation of the drone(s) is adjusted or an additional drone is deployed in the one or more geographic areas.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for edge computing in surgical robotics is provided. The system comprises a surgical robot communicatively coupled to a 3rd party operating room equipment system over a cloud network. The surgical robot includes an operating room hardware configured to perform a surgical procedure on a patient. A memory is communicatively coupled to operating room hardware and user interface, and the memory comprises an equipment database and a threshold database to store parameters related to the operating room hardware. A processor, coupled to the operating room hardware via the network interface, is configured to establish a connection between the surgical robot and the 3rd party operating room equipment system, and monitor events being performed by the operating room and then store the monitored data within the threshold database. The threshold database stores trigger values for each piece of equipment for taking actions, based on data collected by sensors.

Abstract: A system for wagering on outcomes of a live sporting event during a specific time window. The system estimates the duration of the time window based on historical data. The window then either closes at the end of the estimated duration or when the subject of the wager has occurred or is about to occur such that users cannot place wagers on an outcome that has already occurred. The estimated duration of the time window may be based on a statistical average of similar plays or may be determined by an artificial intelligence based algorithm or module.

Abstract: A system for implanting surgical material in a patient’s body is disclosed. The system comprises a two-dimensional (2D) laser cutter network comprising a 2D laser cutter and a processor. The processor is configured to perform the steps of capturing an image of an open area of a patient’s body and processing a drug implant substrate to create a customized drug implant substrate. The customized drug implant may be created based on the captured image to correspond with the open area of the patient’s body. The drug implant substrate is shaped using the 2D laser cutter. The processor is further configured to perform the steps of placing the customized drug implant substrate in the open area of the patient’s body and sealing the open area after placing the customized drug implant substrate in the open area.

Abstract: Copies of a distributed ledger with multiple blocks are stored on multiple computing devices. A first computing device coming into proximity with a particular object triggers generation of a new block to the distributed ledger, the new block identifying a characteristic of the object and including a hash of a previous block of the distributed ledger. The new block is optionally verified before it is appended onto the distributed ledger and transmitted out to each of the multiple computing devices so that each copy of the distributed ledger includes the new block.

A controller may be configured to apply the one or more rules to the first and second detected conditions in the space to identify the one or more issues and provide a notification to the remote device via the communications module.

A wagering platform that offers wagers on micro markets inside of a sporting event can produce personalized content for each user around highlights of their wagering experience. The disclosed systems use a surgical robot to perform robotic joint arthroscopic surgery for soft tissue. The disclosed systems enable a surgeon or physician to perform a virtual surgical procedure in a virtual environment, storing robotic movements, workflow objects, user inputs, or a description of tools used. The surgical robot filters the stored data to determine a surgical workflow from the stored data. The surgical robot displays information describing a surgical step in the surgical workflow, enabling the surgeon or physician to optionally adjust the surgical workflow. The surgical robot stores the optional adjustments and performs the surgical procedure on a patient by executing surgical actions of the surgical workflow.

A user profile database stores information about a user of the vehicle. A control system with a processor and a memory selects one or more attributes of an energy storage unit to customize the energy storage unit for powering at least a propulsion mechanism of the vehicle based on the one or more attributes of the vehicle and the information about the user of the vehicle. A output interface outputs an indication of the selected one or more attributes of the energy storage unit.

Abstract: Haptic feedback from a robotic surgical tool can be adjusted based on intra-operative assessment of the accuracy of a pre-operative surgical navigational plans. Navigational reference points are identified in at least one pre-operative image. At least one haptic response is identified for interactions between at least one robotic surgical tool and at least one navigational reference point. At least one intra-operative image is compared to the pre-operative image to determine the relative position of at least two corresponding navigational reference points in the images. The reference points' relative position determines a confidence level in the accuracy of the pre-operative navigational reference point. The haptic response is adjusted in timing, location, type, or amplitude based upon the confidence level. Tolerances and surgical navigation plan may also be updated and altered based on the confidence level.

Users can select from a set of available wagers and set their own odds and terms, other users can then accept those odds and terms. The system may hold all involved user's money or credit in an escrow account until the actual outcome of the subject of the wager has been determined. Then the system handles the settlement of the wager, either directly or by communicating with a third party.
