  • Patent number: 6497393
Abstract: A universal cell phone security band for displaying cell phones of various sizes includes a band that is placed around the phone. The band has a first end and a second end with notches extending from its edges. The band's second end is received in an adjustable slide at a slot including a wide portion configured to receive the notched second end and a narrow portion configured to receive the portions of the band between the notches. The adjustable slide also has an opening that is configured to receive a threaded connector that is disposed on the band's first end. The opening and the threaded connector are secured with a security-type fastener having a recess that requires the use of a tool other than a traditional flathead or Phillips head screwdriver to rotate the security fastener. A cable can secure the universal security band to a display.

  • Patent number: 5205195
Abstract: An oil filter recycler for severing the casing of an automotive oil filter, for separating the filter into its components for recycling, and for removing engine waste oil for environmentally safe disposal, characterized by a turntable for rotating a cylindrically shaped filter about its' axis and a knife for severing the casing of the filter as it is rotated. The turntable is rotatable either manually or automatically. The knife is radially adjustable relative to the axis of the turntable. A releasable ratchet pawl spring biased for engagement with a rotatable threaded rod on a slidable knife holder provides for slidable, rotatable adjustment of the knife, and for quick release and retraction of the knife.

  • Patent number: 4011942
Abstract: A wristwatch display case for displaying a wristwatch having a flexible expandable band comprises a base and a removable transparent cover which are locked together when the case is mounted on a merchandising display rack and which are separable to permit removal of the watch when the case is removed from the merchandising display rack. The base comprises a sloped rear wall having an elongated slot for receiving the watch band. The side edges of the slot are provided with notches near the ends thereof. A flat flexible watch-supporting cuff formable into a loop and insertable within the watch band is employed to releasably support the watch on the rear wall of the base. Portions of the cuff are wider than the slot, but each portion is narrower than the combined width of the slot and a pair of opposed notches at one end of the slot. Each cuff portion has slits in its opposite side edges for releasable engagement with the side edges of the slot to thereby support the watch on the base.

  • Patent number: 4005775
Abstract: A display case and a merchandise display rack for supporting a plurality of such display cases around its circumference in a radial relationship. The merchandise display rack includes a plurality of relatively movable support members provided with cooperating spindles which are adapted to support the display cases and adapted to be simultaneously locked against displacement by a common locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized removal of the display cases. The display cases are trapezoidal in shape so that they can be received around the circumference of the display rack in radial relationship and each display case includes spaced aligned bores for receiving the spindles of the merchandise display rack. The display cases may be used to support a wristwatch therein and include a one piece base for supporting the wristwatch and a transparent cover including means for engaging the base.
