Abstract: A memory controller and a physical interface layer may accommodate multiple memory types. In some examples, the memory controller and/or PHY may include a register that includes operating parameters for multiple operating modes. Different operating modes may be compatible with different memory types. In some examples, the memory controller and physical interface may be included in a system for testing multiple memory types. The system may provide multiple interfaces for communicating with the memory. The different communication types may be used for performing different tests and/or simulating different types of devices that may utilize the memory.

In one example, a payment system comprises a credit device issued to a consumer enabling the consumer to purchase products or services from a plurality of merchants using funds from a credit account associated with the consumer. The payment system comprises a payment network enabling the plurality of merchants to receive payment from an issuer that issues the credit device to the consumer. A funding device is configured to access information regarding credit available from the credit account, the funding device further configured to access information regarding points available to the consumer. The funding device is configured to use pre-established rules to determine the use of available credit and available points for completing a transaction with a first merchant of the plurality of merchants. The transaction appears to the first merchant as a regular credit card transaction.

Abstract: A fluid permeable material is disclosed. The fluid permeable material is suitable for use as a paver, brick, tile, stormwater entry grate and the like, without being limited thereto. The fluid permeable material described in this invention is light weight and has a hight characteristic breaking strength, and flexural strength. The fluid permeable material described allows fluid to flow freely through the structure without impacting on the structural integrity of the composite material, and filters particulate contaminants from the fluid as it passes through the structure.

Abstract: An apparatus for purifying feed air by adsorption of water vapor and carbon dioxide therefrom includes a purification vessel in which are defined vertically arrange chambers and another purification vessel in which are defined vertically arranged chambers. None of the chambers is in a series flow relationship with any of the others. Each chamber contains a bed of one or more adsorbents which is able to adsorb water vapor and carbon dioxide from the feed air and which forms a reversible part of a gas flow path extending between locations external of the vessels. Valves are associated with the vessel and are operable to permit during a first adsorption period of time simultaneous flows of air to to purified through at least two of the chambers and during a second regeneration period of time simultaneous reverse flows of regeneration gas through the same chambers.
