  • Publication number: 20190173244
Abstract: An RF signal processing system including multiple drop-in modular circuit blocks is disclosed. The drop-in modular circuit blocks include input and output launches exhibiting the same launch geometry. The RF system may include a conductive plate with a grid of holes disposed on the conductive plate. Multiple modular blocks may be installed on the conductive plate to form a cascade of modular blocks that exhibit common launch geometries. The cascade may include an RF probe with a projection and conductive pin that overhang a portion of a launch of a modular block at an end of the cascade. Flex connects may be disposed on, and held in position by, anchors to connect adjacent modular blocks together in a prototype system. A production RF system may exhibit the same overall geometry as a prototype RF system to speed up the transition from prototype design to production design.

  • Publication number: 20190169050
Abstract: A method of operating a filtration unit of a filtration system includes feeding, during filtration, feed water containing suspended particulate material to an inside of each of a plurality of hollow fibres through a first inlet and a second inlet of each hollow fibre while simultaneously removing a filtrate from an outside of each of the hollow fibres through an outlet of a filtration elements. In addition, the method includes feeding, during back-washing, back-wash water to the outside of the hollow fibres through the outlet of the filtration element. Further the method includes discharging, in a first back-wash cycle, back-wash water containing entrained particulate material from the inside of the hollow fibres from one end thereof. Still further, the method includes discharging, in a second back-wash cycle, back-wash water containing entrained particulate material from the inside of the hollow fibres from the other end thereof.

The units are operated in single-pass, single-stage mode or single-pass, two-stage mode, the NF permeate has a pressure at least 5 psi higher than the RO permeate, and the recoveries of the RO and NF permeates are 35 to 75% and 35 to 60% by volume respectively. RO permeate and NF permeate are mixed in a ratio of 2:1 to 40:1 to provide injection water having a TDS content of 500 to 5,000 ppm, and a sulfate concentration of less than 7.5 ppm.

  • Patent number: 8671276
Abstract: The present invention provides a computer implemented method, system, and computer program product for selective encryption of a data transmission. A data transmission is received. When the data transmission is received, the data transmission is unmarshaled. When the transmission is unmarshaled, objects and a set of sensitive fields within the data transmission are identified by referencing a metadata database. Only the set of sensitive fields within the data transmission are encrypted to form a partially encrypted data transmission. The partially encrypted data transmission is marshaled to form a marshaled data transmission. The marshaled data transmission is transmitted to a recipient.
