  • Patent number: 7670639
Abstract: An elongated electrical cable or flexible circuit board includes an electrically conductive path and an insulating body encompassing and electrically isolating the conductive path, the insulating body including an exposed surface having an array of fastener elements extending therefrom, the fastener elements arranged and constructed to engage mating fastener elements associated with a supporting surface to selectively secure the cable or flexible circuit board to the supporting surface. The fastener elements can be loop-engageable fasteners and/or loops.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 22, 2005
Date of Patent: March 2, 2010
    Assignee: Velcro Industries B.V.
Inventors: Christopher M. Gallant, Michel Labrecque, Mark A. Clarner, John Demain
  • Patent number: 7077473
Abstract: Seat cushions are provided including a foam bun, including a first, generally planar central region and a second, generally non-planar region, the first and second regions being separated by an elongated trench, and, disposed in the trench, an elongated touch fastener strip having a first surface that is bonded to the bottom of the trench and a second surface that carries a plurality of fastener elements. The trench has at least a portion of its bottom surface that is inclined with respect to a plane that is generally parallel to the planar central region, allowing the touch fastener strip to be extended around a curve in the trench without buckling.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 3, 2003
Date of Patent: July 18, 2006
    Assignee: Velcro Industries B.V.
    Inventors: John Demain, Peter Leach
