  • Patent number: 7293801
Abstract: A suspension for a vehicle is provided. The suspension includes, for example, a frame and a releasable locking assembly. The releasable locking assembly has, for example, a first assembly movably coupled to the frame, a second assembly movably coupled to the frame, and wherein movement of the frame relative to the first and second assemblies causes the first and second assemblies to engage each other to limit further movement of the frame in at least a first direction.

  • Patent number: 6301727
Abstract: A modular tub spout assembly for use in removably attaching a tub spout on a threadless water pipe extending outwardly from a bath wall without affecting connection of the pipe to a water supply system behind the bath wall includes a tub spout insert, a sleeve and a seal member. The insert has an interior passage, at least a portion of which is of a size to provide a close, but sliding, fit on the pipe. The sleeve has an internal diameter providing a close, but sliding, fit on the pipe and there is a chamber in the insert formed and adapted to closely fit about the sleeve exterior. The seal member is also positioned within the chamber in the insert. A fastener extends within the aligned openings in the insert and sleeve to fix the insert on the pipe. There is a tub spout shell extending over and enclosing the insert and a fastener to attach the shell to the insert.

  • Patent number: 6290147
Abstract: A multiple discharge faucet spout includes a shell with a waterway and a valve body positioned within the shell. The valve body has a water passage which communicates with the waterway and there is a stream discharge and a spray discharge functionally communicating with the valve body water passage. A valve member is movable within the valve body to control water flow from the waterway to either the spray discharge or the stream discharge. A movable control member is attached to the valve member and effective upon inward movement thereof to cause the valve member to close communication between the waterway and the stream discharge and open communication between the waterway and the spray discharge. A spring normally urges the valve member to a position in which the faucet has a stream discharge.

  • Patent number: 6276004
Abstract: A modular shower arm assembly for use in removably attaching a shower fixture to the unthreaded end of a pipe extending outwardly from a shower stall wall without affecting connection of the pipe to a water supply system behind the shower wall uses an adapter sleeve closely fitting over the pipe and located within a chamber in the shower arm water passage. There is a threaded fastener which extends from the top or upper surface of the shower arm, where it is normally unseen, to mount the sleeve and the shower arm to the pipe.

  • Patent number: 5823229
Abstract: A faucet having multiple water discharges includes a housing, an input water connection for the housing, a stream discharge on the housing, a spray discharge on the housing, a filtered water discharge on the housing, a water filter within the housing, and a control valve in the housing connected to each of the water discharges. There is an unfiltered water flow path from the input water connection to the control valve. A manual actuator accessible from the exterior of the housing operates the control valve to direct water from the unfiltered water flow path to either the stream discharge or the spray discharge. There is a filtered water flow path from the input water connection, through the filter, to the control valve. A filtered water manual actuator accessible from the exterior of the housing operates the control valve to direct filtered water to the filtered water discharge.

  • Patent number: 5744033
Abstract: A water filter cartridge for use with a water faucet includes a cover and a filter element located within the cover. The cover has a single unfiltered water input connection and a pair of water output connections, one for filtered water and one for unfiltered water. There is a conduit within the cover connecting the unfiltered water input connection and the unfiltered water output connection. There is a flow path within the cover from said unfiltered water input connection, through said filter element, and connecting to said filtered water output connection.

  • Patent number: 5699832
Abstract: A water input connection for a faucet includes a body which has a water inlet and a water outlet. There is a chamber within the body and there is a seat adjacent the water inlet. An antisiphon check valve is movable within the body chamber toward and away from the seat to open and close the water inlet connection. There is an antiflow valve movable within the body to open and close the water outlet connection. A spring is positioned within the body and biases both the antiflow valve and the antisiphon valve toward water inlet and water outlet closing positions.

  • Patent number: 5560284
Abstract: An automatic drip beverage brewing apparatus in the form an urn includes a liquid reservoir, a brewed beverage reservoir, a brewing basket for holding coffee or tea over an opening to the beverage reservoir, a spigot in the brewed beverage reservoir for draining brewed beverage from the brewed beverage reservoir, and a cover which covers both the liquid reservoir and the brewed beverage reservoir. The brewed beverage reservoir includes a liner which provides an insulative air gap between the liner and the housing which defines the brewed beverage reservoir. A warming element is attached to the brewed beverage reservoir liner. A swing arm shower head is positionable over an opening to the brewing basket. A conduit provides a liquid passageway from the liquid reservoir to a liquid heating element to the shower head. The liquid and beverage reservoirs may be integrally formed by a common housing mountable upon a base which houses the heating element.
