  • Patent number: 11645381
Abstract: A tool for providing a user configured one-time password. Responsive to receiving a request for a one-time password, the tool sends the one-time password, based at least in part, on a user configured one time password rule. The tool receives a user configured one-time password return value for the one time password. The tool determines whether the user configured one-time password return value satisfies the user configured one-time password rule when applied to the one-time password. Responsive to a determination that the user configured one-time password return value satisfies the user configured one time password rule, the tool accepts the user configured one-time password return value and granting access to the application.

  • Publication number: 20230138914
Abstract: A computer receives a request to verify a location of a primary device. The computer receives an Indicated Primary Device Location “IPDL”. The computer shows within a display a dynamically located virtual representation of a predetermined Astronomical Reference Object “ARO”. The virtual representation indicates a real-time offset between a Display Reference Indicator “DRI” and the ARO. The computer receives primary device orientation metadata from sensors associated with the primary device and generates a Measured Primary Device Orientation “MPDO” when the device is in a location verification orientation. The computer calculates an Expected Device Orientation “EDO” for a reference device arranged in the PDVP while at the IPDL. The computer generates a Location Verification Value “LVV” based, at least in part, on comparing the MPDO and the EDO. When the computer determines the LVV exceeds a predetermined verification threshold, providing an indication that the indicated primary device location is verified.

  • Publication number: 20230103102
Abstract: A system may include a memory and a processor in communication therewith configured to perform operations. The operations may include receiving an audio file and a text file related to the audio file, analyzing the audio file to produce an analysis, and determining a portion of the audio file is similar to a segment of the text file. The operations may include identifying a first terminal signal and corresponding the first terminal signal to a first terminal tag in the text file such that the first terminal tag is aligned with the first terminal signal; the first terminal signal identifies a first portion terminal end of the portion and the first terminal tag identifies a first segment terminal end of the segment. The operations may include generating a converted text from the analysis and inserting the segment into the converted text.

  • Patent number: 11608074
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for controlling a vehicle. The method monitors one or more characteristics of one or more users within the vehicle, and compares the one or more characteristics of the one or more users with one or more corresponding baseline characteristics of the one or more users. The method further determines, based on the comparison, that a difference between the one or more characteristics and the one or more corresponding baseline characteristics of the one or more users exceeds a threshold value, and performs a controlling action associated with the vehicle, wherein the controlling action may be taking a higher level of autonomous control over the vehicle; varying speed and handling of the vehicle; and overriding the one or more characteristics of the one or more users in order to avoid an accident.

  • Patent number: 11388157
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for utilizing multi-factor authentication to authenticate an Internet of Things (IoT) device. The identity credentials of neighboring IoT device(s) are obtained by the IoT device to be authenticated. Upon providing a request to the authentication system to prove its identity, the IoT device provides the authentication system a first factor credential, such as a username and password. The authentication system, upon confirming the accuracy of the first factor credential, challenges the IoT device to provide the second factor credential. After receiving the challenge from the authentication system to provide the second factor credential, the IoT device returns the second factor credential that was generated based on the obtained identity credentials from the neighboring IoT device(s).

  • Patent number: 11164195
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include methods, systems and computer program products for predicting customer purchasing behavior. Aspects include receiving, from a sensor, first customer sensor data about a first customer in a store, wherein the first customer sensor data includes accompaniment data about one or more accompaniments of the first customer. A determination is made that the first customer is known based at least in part on the first customer sensor data. Based at least in part on determining that the first customer is known, a customer profile for the first customer is accessed, wherein the customer profile includes historical customer data. The accompaniment data and the customer profile are analyzed to determine a first sales strategy for the first customer. One or more sales techniques can be generated based on the sales strategy for the first customer.
