  • Patent number: 11955165
Abstract: A memory system includes dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) components that include interconnected and redundant component data interfaces. The redundant interfaces facilitate memory interconnect topologies that accommodate considerably more DRAM components per memory channel than do traditional memory systems, and thus offer considerably more memory capacity per channel, without concomitant reductions in signaling speeds. Each DRAM component includes multiplexers that allow either of the data interfaces to write data to or read data from a common set of memory banks, and to selectively relay write and read data to and from other components, bypassing the local banks. Delay elements can impose selected read/write delays to align read and write transactions from and to disparate DRAM components.

  • Patent number: 7286152
Abstract: A method for operating more than one thermal printer adapted to print images by transferring donor material from patches of donor material from a donor ribbon onto a receiver medium, each printer being operable to print images in a manner that exhausts a full donor patch or a fractional donor patch during printing. In accordance with the method, a print order is received and it is determined whether a fractional donor patch set is available for printing at each printer. Portions of the print order are directed to the printers in a pattern that minimizes the number of printers having donor ribbon with a fractional donor patch set available after the printing order has been executed.

  • Patent number: 7253401
Abstract: A method for determining concentrations of naturally occurring radioactive elements in earth formation by analysis of gamma ray energy spectra measured by at least one gamma ray detector while the borehole is being drilled. Gain of the gamma ray detector is controlled automatically through analysis of the spectra. The one or more gamma ray detectors are disposed at the periphery of the downhole instrumentation to maximize sensitivity. Elemental concentrations of naturally occurring radioactive elements such as potassium, uranium and thorium are measured either as a function of depth in the borehole, or as a function of aximuthal sectors around the borehole wall, or as a function of both depth and azimuthal sectors.

  • Patent number: 6142372
Abstract: A tractor and trailer tracking system is provided including a plurality of tractor/trailers at least one of which has a bar code positioned thereon. Also included is at least one checkpoint post having a code scanner for reading the code upon the same passing therethrough whereby the code is ascertained. Next provided is a central monitoring unit connected to the bar code reader of the checkpoint post and including a time circuit for tracking a current time and date. The central monitoring unit also has a database of vehicle information relating to each of the tractor/trailers and the codes. In use, the central monitoring unit serves to store in another database an entry upon each passing of one of tractor/trailers through one of the checkpoint posts. Each entry includes a time of the passing of the checkpoint post and the vehicle information relating to the tractor/trailer that has passed the checkpoint post.
