  • Patent number: 9949522
Abstract: A suspension connection arrangement for a suspension system for a safety helmet, the suspension system including at least one strap connected to at least one tab, which is attachable between a headband arrangement and at least one headband slot positioned on an internal surface of the safety helmet. The suspension connection arrangement includes: at least one projection member extending from the at least one tab; and at least one keyhole connected to at least one slot, both extending at least partially through a headband member, wherein the at least one keyhole is configured to at least partially receive the at least one projection member therethrough, such that the at least one projection member is configured to slide along the at least one slot, thereby removably attaching the at least one tab to the headband member. A suspension system and a safety helmet are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8025053
Abstract: A pressure demand regulator assembly for use with a breathing apparatus having a valve assembly that includes an inlet for connection to a source of breathing gas, an outlet for connection to a facepiece to provide breathing gas to the user and an actuator for controlling the flow of breathing gas between the inlet and the outlet in response to the user's respiration. The regulator assembly further includes a flexible elastomeric diaphragm in operative connection with the actuator. The diaphragm is exposed to ambient pressure on a first side thereof and exposed to a positive pressure within the facepiece on a second side thereof.

  • Publication number: 20030050555
Abstract: An improved magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) injection system exhibits decreased electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improved mobility. The injector apparatus of the injection system includes a head assembly with at least one drive piston and a base assembly including the motor control circuitry and drive motors necessary to control the injector. The electronics in the base assembly are designed to reduce EMI with the magnetic field of the MRI system by employing Faraday cages and various circuit design and filtering techniques. The head assembly of the injector apparatus may also include a hand switch for local control of the injector.
