    Abstract: A tenter frame is illustrated wherein a chain is fabricated by press fitting a pin receiving bushing constructed of Vespel and the like into a steel bushing and then boring a pin receiving opening therein and utilizing wear strips constructed of Vespel in a dovetail configuration opposite the tenter chain providing a lubrication free tenter wherein the chain may be tensioned without excessive stretching. Also illustrated are lubrication-free tenter-clip jaw pivot bushings.
