  • Patent number: 10568276
Abstract: A raised-bed planter structure includes a plurality of elongated, horizontally extending bed panels secured to elongated, vertically extending joint members to form a close sided structure open at a top and bottom. Each bed panel includes elongated planar edge flanges joined by a longitudinally extending arched center section. The bed panels are constructed from a fiber reinforced resin and formed using a pultrusion process. The bed panels are secured to the joint members by fasteners which extend through ends of the edge flanges. Each post includes two sets of vertically aligned hinge pins or hinge pin receivers projecting outward from opposite sides of the post. The fence panels are formed from rectangular, fiberglass tubing formed into a rectangular frame, each panel including a pair of side rails, a top rail and a bottom rail. Relatively closely spaced vertical rods or pickets are attached to and extend from and between the top and bottom rail of each panel. Each of the pickets may also extend through a horizontal support rail extending medially between the top and bottom rails and laterally to provide additional rigidity to the assembly.

  • Patent number: 10334792
Abstract: A plant cage for supporting growing plants includes horizontal and vertical support rods connected by locking clips to form a cage of a desired size and shape. The locking clip includes a clamp at each end of an elongated body, with each clamp formed of two tabs extending outwardly at oblique angles, with an aperture formed in each tab for receiving a horizontal or vertical support rod. The outwardly extending tabs are resilient and flexible such that the tabs can be moved towards each other to a deflected position so that the apertures align and a support rod can be inserted, the resiliency of the material then biases the tabs away from each other when released so that the apertures become unaligned so that the inserted rod is frictionally captured by the clamp.

  • Patent number: 7322564
Abstract: A fence having tubular rails, tubular pickets and tubular posts formed from pultruded fiberglass has several advantageous features. Lightweight fiberglass components are very strong and will not rust like metal fencing and do not require frequent maintenance like wood fencing. Pultruded fiberglass components are easy to manufacture and transport and the finished fence can be assembled using conventional fasteners. Once formed the components of this fence system can be bundled in easy to ship sets for assembly in the field. The fence system adapts well to difficult yards to fence because it can be modified with conventional hand tools.
