    Abstract: A mobile phone handset having a housing that includes a front part and a back part, in which the front part and back part housings are joined in an overlapping manner. The mobile phone handset is capable of allowing significant variations on the physical appearance of the handset such as changing the shape of the front face. These variations involve no re-design of the back part and a core of the phone because the housing of the front part overlaps the housing of the back part when being connected.
