  • Publication number: 20170274696
Abstract: A manufacturing assembly for the creation of laminate constructions includes a calendar device arranged to accept a laminate of three or more layers of material stock, as provided by a matching three or more rolls of the material stock. A sheeting device is arranged downstream from the calendar device for cutting the laminate into predetermined sizes, such that the laminate is kept in a non-rolled, planar orientation subsequent to the laminate exiting the calendar and before the laminate is sheeted by the sheeting device.

  • Patent number: 9773102
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for enabling selective file system access by applications. An application is installed in a computing device. An application manifest associated with the application is received. The application manifest indicates one or more file types that the application is allowed to access. The indicated file type(s) are registered in a location accessible by a broker service. The application is launched as an application process. The application process is isolated in an application container. The application container prevents direct access by the application process to file system data. An access request related to first data of the file system data is received at the broker service from the application process. Access by the application process to the first data is enabled when the broker service determines that a file type of the first data is included in the registered file type(s).

  • Patent number: 9023929
Abstract: The invention relates to a tackifier dispersion comprising a resinous material and an emulsifier, the emulsifier being obtainable by a method comprising providing an ester of one or more fatty acids containing at least two conjugated double bonds, reacting the ester with a dienophile containing an acid or anhydride group, to form an intermediate product A, and, reacting the intermediate product A with one or more polyalkylene glycols. The invention also relates to a method for the production of a tackifier dispersion, its use as a tackifier, and an adhesive composition comprising the tackifier dispersion. The invention further relates to an emulsifier, a method of producing the same and its use for emulsifying resinous materials.

  • Patent number: 9005391
Abstract: An embodiment of the inventive method of transfer lamination bonding a first metallized side of a film to a substrate. Then a breakaway coating is applied to a second, non-metallized side of the film after the first metallized side has been bonded to the substrate. The bonded film and substrate are then placed in an oven. The film is then stripped from the substrate leaving metal from the film deposited on the substrate. The application of the breakaway coating is performed as an inline part of the transfer lamination process thereby providing an ease of manufacture presently unknown.
