  • Patent number: 5341958
Abstract: Caulking tool having a holder for receiving a tube of caulking material or the like, an elongated threaded shaft movable axially of the holder and adapted for driving engagement with the piston-like member which expels the material from the tube, and an electrically actuated drive motor operably connected to the shaft for advancing the shaft axially of the holder to drive the piston-like member toward the nozzle to expel the material.

  • Patent number: 4834143
Abstract: Self-contained, automated flow control system for use in a water distribution system such as a sprinkler system. The system has a master valve which controls communication between a supply line and a manifold, and a plurality of control valves which control communication between the manifold and a plurality of outlet lines. An anti-siphon valve is connected between the master valve and the control valves to prevent water from being drawn back into the supply line from the outlet lines. Operation of the master valve and control valves is controlled by a clock timer which is programmed to actuate the valves in a predetermined sequence and to open the master valve only when one of the control valves is open.

  • Patent number: 4583664
Abstract: Liquid dispensing system utilizing individual modular cartridges removably mounted at the dispensing stations of a control console in plug-in fashion. Each cartridge carries one bottle, and has an outlet and valve structure for controlling the discharge of liquid from the bottle to the outlet. In some embodiments, the cartridge includes a measuring cup which determines the amount of liquid dispensed, and in some of these embodiments the liquid is pressurized for delivery to and/or from the measuring cup.
