  • Patent number: 10238936
Abstract: A device for setting a golf ball and tee. The device includes an upper handle portion connected to a lower gripper portion by an elongated tubular stem portion, the upper handle portion including a pivotal trigger member. The lower gripper portion includes a pair of jaw members pivotal about a pin member. A cable member is located within the elongated tubular stem portion and communicates the pin and trigger members, allowing the normally open jaw members to be brought together to hold a golf ball and tee upon activation of the trigger member. A stand member is attached to the elongated tubular stem portion adjacent its lower end, and includes a spike member extending downwardly therefrom. A golf ball stop member configured to prevent contact between a golf ball and the upper portions of the jaw members extends between the jaw members.

  • Patent number: 7690671
Abstract: An alignment mechanism for aligning the ball with the socket of trailer hitch comprised of a ball portion attached to a towing vehicle and a socket portion attached to a trailer. The alignment mechanism has an alignment body that is cylindrical-shaped having an outer wall, an upper face, a lower face, and a circular opening passing through the center of the body. The circular opening has a diameter that is substantially the same as the diameter of the socket. The upper face has a U-shaped slot and a wedge-shaped slot, the slots being adapted to receive the outer end of the socket portion. The lower face has a truncated conical surface extending upwardly and inwardly between the outer wall of the alignment body and the circular opening. A stop member extends downwardly from the truncated conical surface.

  • Patent number: 6935069
Abstract: A fishing line carrier device for use in downrigger fishing. The device includes a main body portion. A bow extends from the front of the main body portion. A tail extends from the rear of the main body portion and includes a vertical stabilizer and a horizontal stabilizer. The horizontal stabilizer has a flap extending downwardly from its trailing edge. A vertically disposed central plane extends from the bow to the tail. A bore extends vertically through the main body portion along the central plane. A diagonally extending access slot extends from the outer surface of the body to the central plane. Upper and lower access slots communicate the diagonally extending access slot with the bore. A locking pin receiving tunnel extends along the diagonally extending access slot and is adapted to receive a locking pin after the carrier device is positioned onto a downrigger line.

  • Patent number: 6391248
Abstract: A circle cutting attachment device for a cutting torch. A torch tip sleeve is attached to the front end of the device and has a cylindrical opening passing therethrough that has a longitudinal axis that is angled forwardly through the body of the torch tip sleeve. A cradle arm adapted to engage the barrel of a cutting torch extends substantially perpendicularly above the rear end of the device. When the tip of a cutting torch is inserted into the cutting torch tip sleeve and the cradle engages the torch barrel, the torch attachment and torch are placed under bending stress which lockingly engages the tip of the torch to the torch tip sleeve and the cradle to the barrel of the torch.
