  • Patent number: 9688553
Abstract: A water aeration diffuser has a base with an internal cavity defining an air pocket, and a ceramic plate removably attached to the base. The base is in flow communication with air supply such that air is received in the cavity and then diffused by the ceramic plate to create an aeration column in a body of water. To allow for repair and servicing, the ceramic plate is removably attached to the base by one or more fasteners. The base includes a perimeter lip around its top portion that supports the ceramic plate and maximizes the exposed surface area of the plate. A water and air-tight gasket is provided between the lip and the ceramic plate. An eye-bolt may be provided through the ceramic plate and attached to the base to provide an attachment point for a ballast or other means used to position the diffuser.

  • Patent number: 4467516
Abstract: Apparatus for inserting wires into terminals on opposite sides of an elecrical connector in a single stroke comprising first and second wire insertion heads mounted on respective opposite sides of a connector holder which includes a slide mounted on an anvil and linked to an insertion ram carrying the first wire insertion head so that wire insertion movement of the insertion ram relative to the holder produces corresponding movement of the slide.

  • Patent number: 4345889
Abstract: Plastic molding apparatus is disclosed for forming a series of molded connector bodies along a molded strip segment. By repeating the molding cycle, an additional strip segment is simultaneously molded and joined to a previously made strip segment, so that repeated cycling of the molding machine provides a molded continuous strip interconnecting a series of molded bodies.

  • Patent number: 4292732
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tool having a hand operated lever operative with one lever stroke to pivot the tool into position on a work station, to insert a multiple conductor cable in between a pair of clamping and gripping jaws of a metal clamp of an electrical connector to which the conductors are to be connected, and to close the jaws onto the cable. Release of the lever retracts the cable insertion mechanism and pivots the tool away from the work station.

  • Patent number: 4144633
Abstract: The disclosure relates to connecting multiple wires into connectors using a tool having a platen on which is incorporated a connector, a comb, and a lever actuated insertion tool for inserting wires one at a time into contacts of the connector by indexing the tool to successive wire insertion positions or, alternatively, freely sliding the tool to any one of the positions whereat a wire is positioned against an insertion blade of the tool prior to and during movement of the blade and wire together toward the connector in the act of inserting the wire.
