  • Patent number: 7204769
Abstract: A ball hitting practice device has a base member, a post projecting upwardly from the base member and a pivot joint between the lower end of the post and the base member for allowing pivoting of the post in any direction about the base member to any selected tilt angle. A locking device is provided for securing the post at a selected angle and direction relative to the base member, and a cup is pivotally secured to the upper end of the post for supporting a ball. The cup can be pivoted relative to the post so as to face upwardly regardless of the tilt angle of the post relative to the base member.

  • Patent number: 5662065
Abstract: An animal bed includes an annular bed frame defining an interior chamber. A perforated top wall is supported at its periphery by the bed frame to receive and support the animal above the chamber. The perforated top wall is composed of a non-woven fabric material to provide a hammocklike suspension for the animal, and to permit small insects to fall through the top wall. The chamber is dimensioned to provide a space below the top wall sufficient to inhibit the insects from travelling upwardly through the top wall. An insect exterminating composition contained within the chamber receives the falling insects and destroys them.

  • Patent number: 5335627
Abstract: An animal harness having a rectangularly shaped slotted plate for resting on the back of the animal rearwardly of its forward shoulders and a single control strap adapted to be attached to a leash and for cooperating with pairs of rings for defining right and left foreleg slip loops. A pair of restraining straps pass through the rings and are coupled to the plate by a latching arrangement, cooperate with the slip loops to form a block and tackle arrangement which utilizes a pulling force exerted by the animal, to exert a restraining force across the upper foreleg muscles of the animal when the leash is held in a substantially stationary position.
