Abstract: A toothpaste cap device including a bottom cap portion configured to be seated over a toothpaste tube by an internally threaded connector. The bottom cap portion has a toothpaste-dispensing nozzle disposed on an outside upper surface. The device includes an upper cap portion associated with a sound module containing an audio alert, the sound module being automatically activated to play the alert upon opening of the upper portion of the cap. The bottom cap portion can optionally comprise an enclosure cavity enclosing a removable floss spool. A method of delivering an audio alert including providing an auto-activated sound module within a toothpaste cap. The alert may be a recorded message regarding oral hygiene.
