Abstract: A passive cooling device is disclosed for use with a speaker integrated electronic device. Also disclosed is a method of using the device for generating passive cooling and increasing the sound output by the speaker integrated electronic device when outputting low frequency sound. The electronic device has an internal housing in which the speaker is located with a diaphragm extending through a void in the housing wall. The internal housing also has an air flow channel in fluid communication with the housing interior and an outlet adjacent an electronic component. Movement of the diaphragm directs moving air through the channel to reduce the operating temperature of the electronic component during speaker activation, while air movement in the internal housing increase the sound output by the speaker integrated electronic device.

Abstract: A directionally adjustable magnetic mounting system is disclosed for use with a small electronic device such as a wireless camera. The mounting system includes a camera mount having a mounting surface configured to selectively and alternatively magnetically engage any one of a plurality of mount engaging locations on the electronic device in an angular orientation that is variable relative to a longitudinal centerline of the camera mount. Also disclosed is a method of using the mounting system.

The camera has a generally circular LED array located around an image sensor and a generally polygonal lens covering the generally circular LED array. The outer edge of the generally polygonal lens has a length equal to or less than the outer diameter of the generally circular LED array.

Abstract: A light transmission device includes body that extends between a generally planer lower rim that is configured to collect light from a light source, and an upper rim that is configured to emit the light. The upper rim may be elliptical and emit the light in a generally uninterrupted elliptical light emission pattern, even if the light is transmitted to the lower rim in a linear or other non-elliptical pattern. The light transmission device may be located within a wireless networking device with wireless antennas located between the lower and upper rims of the body.
