  • Patent number: 11987598
Abstract: Methods and compositions using E-selectin antagonists are provided for the treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders treatable by inhibiting binding of E-selectin to an E-selectin ligand. Described herein are E-selectin antagonists including, for example, glycomimetic compounds, antibodies, aptamers and peptides that are useful in methods for treatment of cancers, and treatment and prevention of metastasis, inhibiting infiltration of the cancer cells into bone marrow, reducing or inhibiting adhesion of the cancer cells to endothelial cells including cells in bone marrow, and inhibiting thrombus formation.

  • Patent number: 11971728
Abstract: A hierarchical modular arbitration architecture for a mobile platform guidance system is disclosed. In embodiments, the architecture comprises a hierarchy of arbitration layers, each arbitration layer narrower in scope than the layer above (e.g., mission objective arbitrators, route arbitrators, path arbitrators). Each arbitration layer includes one or more objective-based arbitrators in communication with one or more applications or modes. Each arbitrator receives control input (e.g., from the pilot, from aircraft sensors) and control signals from the level above, selecting a mode to make active based on decision agents within the arbitrator layer which control mode priorities and sequencing (e.g., some flight objectives may involve multiple arbitrators and their subject applications coordinating in sequence).

  • Patent number: 11944130
Abstract: A vaporizer device includes various modular components. The vaporizer device includes a first subassembly. The first subassembly includes a cartridge connector that secures a vaporizer cartridge to the vaporizer device and includes at least two receptacle contacts that electrically communicate with the vaporizer cartridge. The vaporizer device includes a second subassembly. The second subassembly includes a skeleton defining a rigid tray that retains at least a power source. The vaporizer device also includes a third subassembly. The third subassembly includes a plurality of charging contacts that supply power to the power source, and an end cap that encloses an end of the vaporizer device.

  • Patent number: 9179393
Abstract: An intelligent mobile transponder determines an optimal position to relay signals with respect to multiple users based on a comparison of the signal characteristics of all the users. An intelligent transponder communication system includes a first communication module to transmit a first communication signal at a first direction. The first communication signal has at least one first signal characteristic. A second communication module is configured to transmit a second communication signal at a second direction. The second communication signal has at least one second signal characteristic different from the at least one first signal characteristic. The intelligent mobile transponder is further configured to automatically self-locate to the optimal position to relay the communication signals between the multiple users.

Date of Patent: November 3, 2015
    Assignee: Raytheon Company

  • Patent number: 4277023
Abstract: This is concerned with a so-called center pivot irrigation system in which a string of pipe is supported on wheeled towers at intervals and pivots about a so-called center pivot or water supply either intermittently or continuously so that it waters or irrigates a generally circular area. This is more specifically concerned with an arrangement and a control for watering the corners or noncircular area of a field in a manner which is greatly simplified over a number of previous approaches.
