  • Patent number: 11937797
Abstract: A novel posterolateral inter-muscular approach has been developed to access the cervical. spine. The approach includes elevating the splenius capitis and trapezios muscles dorsally to create a window for deep spine access, wherein the window comprises: i) an anterior superior border of the trapezius muscle; ii) an anterior inferior border of the splenius capitis muscle, and iii) a posterior superior border of the levator scapulae muscle. Preferably, a device such as an implant or an instrument is then passed through the window to manipulate the spine.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9440577
Abstract: A wrecker-type recovery vehicle for recovering other, disabled vehicles, and a method for doing so, which may use a CAN Bus, and which may employ wrecker controls located a distance from a side surface of the vehicle exterior. Traveler rollers may be used to facilitate longitudinal movement of a travel base assembly supporting the boom, relative to the vehicle frame.

  • Patent number: 6092975
Abstract: A rear hydraulic outrigger assembly for a rotator or similar mobile wrecker wherein the rear outriggers are constructed and arranged to diverge rearwardly from the outrigger and are capable of outward lateral extension for increased stability. The rear outrigger includes a vertically extending portion and horizontally extending position which can be telescopically extended away from the rotator thereby increasing stability during loaded operation. This allows a large vehicle which requires rear stabilization room in the center part thereof for an underlift or similar structure while maintaining down and out stabilization advantages.

  • Patent number: 4734045
Abstract: A high density connector for connecting multiple circuits between printed circuit boards or the like is formed of inter-engaging mating, first and second connector halves formed of an electrical insulating material with said connector halves including opposed connection faces having uniform width and height undulations forming alternating flattened peaks and valleys of limited width with the peaks and valleys having an electrically conductive coating thereon to form longitudinally spaced transversely offset contacts at the peaks and valleys. The connection faces of the respective connector halves bear mirror image undulations. The center to center distance between longitudinally adjacent contacts is less than the peak to valley distance between those contacts to increase the electrical creapage path between longitudinally adjacent contacts of the mating first and second connector halves.

  • Patent number: 4045109
Abstract: An electronic packaging assembly in which a box containing electronic components is slidably mounted on a support and carries at its rear an electrical connector assembly which engages with a mating connector member mounted at the rear of the support with zero insertion force. Means is provided for moving the contacts mounted in the connector assembly at the rear of the box to bring the respective contacts in the two connector halves into engagement. Such means includes a motion transmitting element which extends through the box and a pivoted handle at the front of the box which actuates the motion transmitting element. A hook is provided on the handle which latches the front of the box to the support simultaneously with the actuating of the movable contacts. The connector assembly is a modular assembly in which individual connector modules containing either movable or fixed contacts may be mounted in any arrangement in the shell of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 3960428
Abstract: An electrical connector having means providing a signal when the connector members are fully engaged. The coupling nut on one connector member carries a detent pin which engages a mating recess in the shell of the connector member when the member is fully coupled to its mating connector member. When the detent pin engages the recess, an electrical indicator circuit is closed providing a signal that the connector members are mated. A releasable lock ring is also provided on the coupling nut which maintains the detent pin engaged with the recess.
