  • Patent number: 10427861
Abstract: A dispensing container for a medication blister pack is formed of a front holder portion having a plurality of openings aligned with the blisters and a rear catching container snap fastened to the holder portion to catch and hold medications which can be released by the user operating a flap. The catching container includes an integrally molded leg portion hinged thereon for movement to extend rearwardly to support the container in an upstanding position from a horizontal support surface. The holder portion is formed as a separate molded portion defining a front face of the dispensing container at which the blister pack is exposed with top and bottom edges each forming a slot defined between the panel and an overlying component so as to allow the blister pack slide along the panel to lie on the panel with the top and bottom edges trapped by the slots.

  • Patent number: 9375384
Abstract: A medication compliance package includes an outer carrier of card defining a rear panel into which the pockets of a blister sheet are attached and covered by a foil layer. A front panel folds over the rear panel to cover its front face and the pockets. The front panel has a slot shaped opening along the mutual side edge with the rear panel to allow fingers of the hand of the user to extend through the opening, with the front and rear panels in the open position, from the rear face of the front panel to reach around the mutual side edge to the rear face of the rear panel. This simplifies the act of popping the medications out of the blister since the fingers engage the rear of the rear panel and the thumb can be used to apply pressure to the pockets.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject matter described herein relate to advertising content for mobile devices. In aspects, advertising content is downloaded to a mobile device when the mobile device is connected to a network. The advertising content is stored on a storage media of the mobile device. Later, a user may search the advertising content of the mobile device without connecting the mobile device to a network. Because the advertising content is downloaded to the mobile device, the advertising content may be accessed more quickly. Additionally, the advertising content may be sized to be suited for the display size of the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 7481331
Abstract: A wall mounted vertical, gravity fed dispensing container for use with a blister pack includes a pair of perforated sheets defining a holder portion for receiving and supporting the blister pack while holding the blister pack parallel to the wall. The holder portion is formed as a separate element which can be snapped into the container. The two sheets are hinged at the bottom. Behind the holder portion is a catching container fixed to the holder portion and to the wall such that medication expelled from the blisters through the openings by a manually movable punch is caught in the catching container. A bottom wall of the catching container converges the medications to a bottom chute with a manually movable press lever operating a flap valve to discharge the medications into a cup. A front door covers the holder and the blister pack and contains a receptacle for the punch.

  • Patent number: 7439902
Abstract: A radar controlled automatic target illumination system for marine and other moving vessels. A radar system operably connected to the vessel produces an electronic signal corresponding to an azimuth of a target relative to, and in proximity to the vessel. An array of lights are connected to the vessel, each light being aimed outwardly in a different lighting sector, the sectors being adjacent one to another around the vessel, each of said lights, when automatically activated, illuminating one lighting sector. An electronic processor is operably connected between the radar system and the array of lights for the automatic selective activation of one or more of the lights to illuminate the target within a corresponding lighting sector which the radar system has identified.

  • Publication number: 20030191562
Abstract: An anchorless boat positioning system for establishing and maintaining a boat at a selected geographic location without the use of a conventional anchor. In one embodiment, a steerable thruster is used whose thrust and steering direction are determined and controlled on the basis of position information signals received from global positioning system (GPS) satellites, relative steering angle between the boat and the thruster and boat heading indication signals from a magnetic compass. The system continuously monitors the position and heading of the boat and compares it with the stored coordinates of the selected anchoring location(s) to generate control signals for the steerable motor. Several modes of operation are disclosed and Euler transformations for offset antenna placement for error reduction are taught. Proportional, integral, and derivative control (PID) of four constants of vessel control is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5491636
Abstract: An anchorless boat positioning system dynamically and automatically maintains a boat at a selected anchoring location within water without the use of a conventional anchor by using a steerable thruster whose thrust and steering direction are determined on the basis of position information signals received from global positioning system (GPS) satellites and heading indication signals from a magnetic compass. The anchorless positioning system continuously monitors the position and heading of the boat and compares it with the stored coordinates of the selected anchoring location to generate control signals for the steerable motor.

  • Patent number: 4379361
Abstract: A cable termination assembly according to the invention includes a cable with signal and ground isolation conductors, insulation for insulating said electrical conductors, an intermediate conductor portion of each conductor being exposed and deformed between adjacent portions of the insulation, contacts for electrically connecting respective signal conductors to an external device, the contacts being electrically connected directly to the exposed deformed intermediate conductor portions to form a junction therewith, and a body enclosing the junctions and intermediate conductor portions and securing the same in relative position while leaving part of the contacts exposed for electrically connecting with such external device. The ground conductors are in abutment for common connection thereof beyond the end of the insulation, and a secure pull tab is provided for withdrawing the assembly from a connection. The invention also relates to a method for making such assemblies.

  • Patent number: 4105278
Abstract: A molded cable termination assembly for terminating a woven cable, which has a fabric-like woven insulation about the conductors thereof, includes in one embodiment a pair of clamping pads tightly clamped against the woven cable during injection molding of a housing base directly to the cable to prevent wicking of the molding material along the cable exteriorly of the mold. In another embodiment, a lip seal arrangement securely grips the woven cable in response to the pressure exerted during the injection molding process to prevent such undesirable wicking. The latter embodiment also is effective to provide strain relief holding of the cable in the molded housing base and, therefore, enables molding a cable termination direction to non-bondable, non-wettable or like cables.

  • Patent number: 4029917
Abstract: A multiple switch device is connectable on-line between a multiple conductor electrical cable termination assembly or the like and a receptacle or the like to which the assembly would otherwise be connected. The multiple switch device includes a plurality of slide switches that are selectively actuable to slide directly on contacts integrally molded in a common body part of the device to open or to close respective circuits. A plastic bridge molded in the common body part between respective pairs of contacts over which a common slide switch glides provides a generally continuous planar surface to facilitate such motion without unnecessary wear to the contacts or the slide switch.
