  • Patent number: 11977594
Abstract: Described herein are, among other things, techniques, devices, and systems for generating one or more trained machine-learning models. Also described herein are techniques, devices, and systems for applying a consumption history of a particular user to the trained model(s) to generate score data indicating a correlation between each content-item title and the consumption history. The techniques then determine a ranked list of content items having a highest correlation to the consumption history, which may be used to retrieve videos associated with the most-correlated content items for generating a compilation video composed of these retrieved videos.

  • Patent number: 11194043
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to controlling one or more vehicle systems based on a determined weather condition. In some embodiments, a radar system can be mounted on a vehicle and can collect weather data by receiving electromagnetic signals. A weather condition can be determined based on the collected weather data, and a vehicle system can be controlled based on the determined weather condition, such as vehicle lighting, windscreen wipers, or cruise control. In some embodiments, weather conditions can include fog, sleet, or smog. The weather condition can be determined by analyzing scattered reflections from incident microwaves and/or radio waves to determine a level of attenuation of the scattered electromagnetic energy indicative of a presence or absence of particles. A map can be displayed displaying the weather condition and controlling vehicle navigation systems. The collected weather data can be compared with data from a LiDAR or camera system for reliability.

  • Patent number: 4876668
Abstract: Memory cells in a matrix are provided by a thin film of amorphous semiconductor material overlayed by a thin film of resistive material. An array of parallel conductors on one side perpendicular to an array of parallel conductors on the other side enable the amorphous semiconductor material to be switched in addressed areas to be switched from a high resistance state to a low resistance state with a predetermined level of electrical energy applied through selected conductors, and thereafter to be read out with a lower level of electrical energy. Each cell may be fabricated in the channel of an MIS field-effect transistor with a separate common gate over each section to enable the memory matrix to be selectively blanked in sections during storing or reading out of data. This allows for time sharing of addressing circuitry for storing and reading out data in a synaptic network, which may be under control of a microprocessor.
