  • Publication number: 20040177460
Abstract: When this new and unique pool surface cleaning device is introduced into the market of pool cleaning products there will be no concern about damaging the surface of pools during the act of cleaning. This device incorporates a unique easily replaceable head system that may be as wide and long as necessary and composed of one or more sponge, cellular material, fabric, fibrous or soft composition heads attached to a conventional extension handle commonly used in the cleaning process of swimming pools or a handle designed specifically to mate with the unique pool surface cleaning device. These heads can be quickly, easily and economically replaced when necessary and come in a variety of geometric shapes and sizes. A wide variety of pools exist beyond just swimming pools that require systematic cleaning of the surface.

  • Publication number: 20030232550
Abstract: With the development of the universal swim fin replacement strap swimmers will be able to carry inexpensive, colorful, replacement straps with them whether they came on the swim fins or not, so that in the event a buckle or strap breaks or is lost, the swimming activity is not spoiled by not being able to use the swim fins. These unique heel straps will not be encumbered with heavy adjusting buckles or heel supports, but will incorporate a novel method of length adjustment using the existing knobs located on the sides of the swim fins and a plurality of orifices along the sides from the heal area to each distal end of the strap. Pull tabs or pull rings will aide in the mounting of the universal replacement swim fin strap to the swim fins and to putting the swim fins on the foot. Additional embodiments of this invention endeavor to accomplish the same goals using similar means of attachment while staying within the scope of this patent.

  • Patent number: 5702277
Abstract: A foot mounted fin for use by body surfers, divers, and swimmers in water activities of all types. The strap of the swim fin fits around the ankle while the fin blade extends out beyond the foot. There is a scoop section designed to take in water at the top of the fin near the foot. Scoop discharge ports for discharging water is at the blade tip. The scoop section also channels the water to eyelet ports formed into the fin blade, enabling it to discharge water out and over the bottom surface of the fin blade while at the same time releasing it at the blade tip. This combines the forces of the two jet streams of water. This fin works with wave turbulence and ocean currents enabling the body surfer, diver and/or swimmer to fully utilize the power potential from the ocean on his/her behalf. This fin also includes side rib extensions to increase blade width and surface area without making it too long.
