  • Patent number: 9681754
Abstract: The present invention is a collapsible stool with a plurality of legs that can be stored either freestanding or hung, and that has a single handle that is used to carry, initiate expansion or collapse of, or used to guide the stool when sitting. Further, the stool has a novel mechanism that allows a smooth transition from collapse to expansion and expansion to collapse using a single handle. This same mechanism allows the stool to stand upright in a stable position in both the expanded and collapsed configurations.

  • Publication number: 20170161133
Abstract: A user interface system includes an extraction engine in communication with a managed infrastructure. The extraction engine in operation receives messages from the managed infrastructure and produces events that relate to the managed infrastructure and converts the events into words and subsets used to group the events into clusters that relate to failures or errors in the managed infrastructure includes managed infrastructure physical hardware. The managed infrastructure supports the flow and processing of information. A sigalizer engine includes one or more of an NMF engine, a k-means clustering engine and a topology proximity engine. The sigalizer engine determines one or more common steps from events and produces clusters relating to events. The sigalizer engine determines one or more common characteristics of events and produces clusters of events relating to the failure or errors in the managed infrastructure.

  • Publication number: 20170155559
Abstract: A user interface system has at least a first engine configured to receive message data from managed infrastructure that includes managed infrastructure physical hardware which supports the flow and processing of information. The at least first engine determines common characteristics of events and produces clusters of events relating to the failure of errors in the managed infrastructure. Membership in a cluster indicates a common factor of the events that is a failure or an actionable problem in the physical hardware managed infrastructure directed to supporting the flow and processing of information. One or more situations are created that is a collection of one or more events or alerts representative of the actionable problem in the managed infrastructure. A display computer system generates a dashboard display that includes situations from clustered messages received from managed infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 9573784
Abstract: A print media moving apparatus includes a web guide positioned immediately upstream relative to a roller. The web guide has an arcuate surface including three sections with the second section located between the first and third sections. The arcuate surface includes a peak in the second section. The roller, having a diameter and rotational axis, includes three sections with the second section located between the first and third section as viewed along the rotational axis. The diameter of the roller in the first and third sections is greater than in the second section. The three sections of the web guide correspond to the three sections of the roller such that the contour of the arcuate surface causes the print media, after leaving the web guide, to contact the first and third sections of the roller prior to contacting the second section of the roller.

  • Publication number: 20170017499
Abstract: An interface generator 6 generates a user interface for a mobile communication device 2 by providing, at step S2, a menu of functional components to a website owner 5 and receiving an indication of which of the functional components are selected for inclusion in the user interface from the website owner, at step S3. When the interface generator 6 receives a request for the user interface from the mobile communication device 2, at step S7, it delivers the user interface to the mobile communication device, at step S8, for display by the mobile communication device 2. The generated user interface includes the selected functional components and selection of a functional component included in the displayed user interface by a user of the mobile communication device 2 causes the mobile communication device 2 to carry out a task.
