  • Patent number: 11979424
Abstract: Techniques for providing contextual forensic data based on user activities. A first method includes identifying a user action in user activity data, wherein the user action is a discrete event initiated by a user, wherein the user action is performed with respect to a portion of a system; and correlating the identified user action with at least one system change, wherein the at least one system change is related to the portion of the system, wherein the at least one system change occurred after the user action. A second method includes taking a first snapshot before a user action occurs, wherein the user action is a discrete event initiated by a user, wherein the first snapshot is taken of at least a portion of a system; and taking a second snapshot after the user action occurs, wherein the second snapshot is taken of the at least a portion of the system.

  • Publication number: 20240095259
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for storing a first data object comprising a first set of immutable components, the first data object being associated with a corresponding second data object stored by a remote replication system. A difference is determined between the first set of immutable components of the first data object and a second set of immutable components of the corresponding second data object. A subset of immutable components is identified from the first set of immutable components based on the difference. The subset of immutable components from the first set of immutable components is provided to the remote replication system over a communication network.

  • Patent number: 11039083
Abstract: Embodiments can enable motion capture cameras to be optimally placed in a set. For achieving this, a virtual set can be generated based on information regarding the set. Movement of a virtual actor or a virtual object may be controlled in the virtual set to simulate movement of the corresponding real actor and real object in the set. Based on such movement, camera aspects and obstructions in the set can be determined. Based on this determination, indication information indicating whether regions in the set may be viewable by one or more cameras placed in the physical set may be obtained. Based on the indication information, it can be determined an optimal placement of the motion capture cameras in the set. In some embodiments, an interface may be provided to show whether the markers attached to the actor can be captured by the motion capture cameras placed in a specific configuration.

  • Patent number: 7436864
Abstract: A method relating to the calibration of tuneable lasers is described. The method provides for the provision of correct control currents so as to achieve each of desired output frequencies from the laser. The correct currents are determined by forming a matrix of the output characteristics of the laser at specific tuning currents and processing that matrix to determine stable operating points within the matrix.

  • Publication number: 20060109879
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for compensating variations in tuning efficiency and power of a multi-section tunable laser diode. The invention comprises a means to obtain a set of values for a specific section of the laser diode and a means to normalise the values to compensate the non-linearities in the set of values, hence compensating for variations in the tuning efficiency for that particular section of the laser diode. The invention is advantageous in that it is generic and can be applied to several different types of lasers. A further advantage of the invention is that the mode width can be determined as well as the mode modulation of the tunable laser.
