Abstract: Virus and microbe-killing, self-sterilizing resistive heated air filters and methods of making and using same methods. The air filter is includes laser-induced graphene (LIG), a porous conductive graphene foam formed through photothermal conversion of a polyimide film (or another source or source of polymer or other LIG precursor material) by a laser source. The LIG in the air filter can capture particulates and bacteria. The bacteria cannot proliferate even when submerged in culture medium. Through a periodic Joule-heating mechanism, the filter easily reaches greater than 300° C.

  • Patent number: 10616666
Abstract: Embodiments of the systems, methods, and computer readable medium devices disclosed herein provide a sentiment analysis system that can determine sentiment from an input of a user received from a device. Once the input is received, parsing and analysis can be performed to determine a particular sentiment corresponding to the input. The system can determine an overall sentiment of some or all of the users or viewers watching a particular video stream, such as a live video stream. The determined overall sentiment can represent a metric indicating what users generally feel about a portion of the video stream, and the system can use the determination to cause modification of the video stream or a future video stream to enhance the user experience.

  • Publication number: 20180229497
Abstract: This disclosure provides a high precision measurement system for rapid, accurate determination of height of a deposition source relative to a deposition target substrate. In one embodiment, each of two transport paths of an industrial printer mounts a camera and a high precision sensor. The cameras are used to achieve registration between split transport axes, and the positions of the high precision sensors are each precisely determined in terms of xy position. One of the high precision sensors is used to measure height of the deposition source, while another measures height of the target substrate. Relative z axis position between these sensors is identified to provide for precise z-coordinate identification of both source and target substrate. Disclosed embodiments permit dynamic, real-time, high precision height measurement to micron or submicron accuracy.
