  • Patent number: 11989751
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed for providing instant rebates before a transaction is completed. This involves ingest of customer and rebate data from two or more utilities, where the data is parsed and normalized into a standard format across all of the utilities. The customer data is then stored in an accounts database, while the rebate data is further processed along with utility rebate rules to determine a set of rebate eligibilities for a variety of scenarios. The resulting rebate profiles can be stored in a rebates database and linked to corresponding customer account data in the accounts database. Third-party frontends can then request rebate eligibility based on a customer identifier and retail channel, and various services can work in tandem to query the rebated database and return a set of eligibilities with so little latency that the eligibility check appears instant from a customer's standpoint.

  • Publication number: 20240122626
Abstract: A fixation device includes a body having a first axial end and a second axial end defining a longitudinal axis. The body has a longitudinal bore therein, and a longitudinal slot in a first side of the body extending laterally to the bore. A mounting bracket is connected to the first axial end at a second side opposite the slot and extends outward therefrom. The mounting bracket is configured to be mounted to a first structure. A support member is retained in the bore and is configured to move longitudinally in the bore. The support member protrudes outward from the first side of the body to support a second structure a longitudinal distance from the first structure. A lead screw engages a threaded hole in the base whereby rotation of the lead screw moves the support member to adjust the longitudinal distance between the first and second structures.

  • Patent number: 6150817
Abstract: The invention concerns an improved magnetic resonance apparatus and method for substantially reducing the dead time of the apparatus, in order to recover as much of the submicrosecond FID signals as quickly as possible. A double-channel, out-of-phase signal combination is employed. Two RF receiving coils are arranged with identical ringing characteristics, preferably mutually perpendicular to one another. The RF signal received by one coil is phase shifted by 180.degree., amplified, and combined with the amplified RF signal received by the other coil. The ringing components cancel, while the FID components in phase quadrature do not. The transmitter/receiver apparatus may be of duplex or crossed coil configuration. In the latter case, one of the receiver coils may be orientated parallel to the main field so that it receives no FID signal and operates only to reduce the dead time.

  • Patent number: 6133733
Abstract: In a magnetic resonance apparatus for providing an image of a sample a birdcage resonator 12 is provided with its axis parallel to the magnetic field of the apparatus. A radio-frequency source 36 is connected to the resonator 12 so as to generate a magnetic field by a first resonance mode of the resonator and a detector 44, 46 is connected to the resonator 12 so as to detect any signal received by the resonator in its second, orthogonal mode.
