    Abstract: In various embodiments, an AR-15/M-16 style rifle may comprise a lower receiver, a magazine catch spring, a magazine release button, an ambidextrous magazine release button, and a magazine catch. The magazine catch spring may be at least partially installable within the lower receiver. The magazine release button may operatively engage a first end of the magazine catch spring. The magazine release button may be movably installed in the lower receiver. The ambidextrous magazine release button may be pivotally installed within the lower receiver. The ambidextrous magazine release button may be configured to pivot about a pivot screw in the lower receiver. The magazine catch may be moveably installed in the lower receiver. The magazine catch may comprise a first portion that operatively engages the magazine release button and a second portion that operatively engages the ambidextrous magazine release button.
