    Abstract: A water vessel with a bow-mounted pitch stabilizer having a rigid support structure attached to the bow and projecting in front of it, and one or more horizontally pivoted flaps on the support structure below the vessel's water line for opposing the up or down movement of the bow in the water. Roll stabilizers on opposite sides of the vessel's hull below the water line each comprise a hinged horizontal vane which is spring-biased to position substantially coplanar with the fixed vane.

    Abstract: A wind-scoop for small boats has a collapsible framework of resiliant bent wire members, over which a dome-shaped fabric cover member is received in form fitting relation, one side only of which cover member is air permeable for scooping wind to be directed below deck. The bent wire members of the framework, at their lower ends, are provided with radially outwardly-directed hook means for releasable attachment with respect to the peripheral edge of a deck through opening.

    Abstract: An integrally-formed portlight for installation through a sidewall opening in the cabin or hull structure of a marine vessel has an inwardly-projecting, rectangular spigot portion within which a rectangular light or screen can be selectively fitted. The light is hingingly supported along its top edge within the spigot to provide for upward opening to the inside for substitution of a rectangular screen, the screen being received, along an upper marginal edge portion, within the groove between the upper edge of the light, when withdrawn, and a peripheral shoulder formed within the spigot. Lower end portions of the light or screen are clamped in place against the peripheral shoulder of the spigot with use of elongated clamp-screws threadingly received in upstanding brackets secured to outer end portions of the spigot along the bottom wall thereof.
