    Abstract: A head suitable for use on any weed cutter, regardless of whether it has a left-hand or right-hand threaded shaft. The head includes, in order from top to bottom, an arbor enclosing an elongated hexagonal nut with internal threads to engage the shaft of a weed cutter, a line holding plate, two cutting lines, a tension plate, a tightening knob and a bolt held by the knob and threaded into the hexagonal nut.
