  • Patent number: 6957467
Abstract: A toothbrush that provides, besides the conventional bristles for brushing the teeth, other basic periodontal components recommended by dentists for perfect cleaning, massaging and stimulating the gum tissue, all in one single, convenient artifact. The brush component is molded into one end of the handle, in conventional manner, and the opposite end of the handle contains two parallel cylinders for housing the two periodontal tools which are extended and retracted with buttons, one on each side of the handle, through a slit in each cylinder wall, establishing a means for this movement. The buttons engage two sliders, the ends of each hold extension tubes that capture and retain the dental tools and provide replacement capabililty. • Patent number: 6939319
Abstract: A process and device for single use, needle-free hypodermic, intradermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections of medicament with manually or pneumatic operated injector device using vacuum to stretch and properly hold the skin for horizontally to perpendicularly delivering to a human or animal a premeasured dose of medicament or vaccine by means of a thin high pressure liquid jet stream of sufficient velocity to penetrate the epidermis of the subject and depositing the medicament in the desired depths of tissue. Utilizing disposable single use, filled or pre-filled medicament ampules, the manually operated injector device provides the interface features for mounting the ampule, and the features for supplying the impulse force required to inject the medicament upon activation and safety interlock features to prevent inadvertent activation until the ampule is properly interfaced with the epidermis.

  • Publication number: 20010054211
Abstract: A toothbrush that provides, besides the conventional bristles for brushing the teeth, other basic periodontal components recommended by dentists for perfect cleaning, massaging and stimulating of the gum tissue, all in one single, convenient artifact. The brush component is molded into one end of the handle, and the opposite end of the handle contains tubular recesses for holding two other dental tools. The invention includes four embodiments for holding, storing and ready retrieval of those tools. Two embodiments utilize a sliding button that extends the components out of internal recess chambers in the body of the toothbrush handle, the first one extends the components out of each end of the toothbrush handle, and the second one extends the tools out of the opposite end of the toothbrush, from the brush end. A third embodiment rotates the tools out of a covered recess chamber in the toothbrush handle and the fourth embodiment utilizes a knurled sleeve to extend the components out of the toothbrush handle.
