    Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system with a power management device, a wakeup circuit, a battery management device, and a connector. During a powered down mode of operation, the battery management device can provide, via the connector, a bias voltage to the wakeup circuit. In response to a wakeup switch being activated, the battery management device can provide a power supply (e.g., from a battery) to the power management device. Benefits of the wakeup circuit include (1) a reduction of battery consumption—and thus improving battery lifetime—when the electronic system is in a powered down mode of operation because the wakeup circuit has lower number of active components compared to other designs and (2) a non-complex wakeup circuit design because one or more existing connector interconnects between the power management device and the battery management device can be re-used during electronic system's powered down mode of operation.

    Abstract: Gel compositions comprising styrene-(ethylene/propylene)styrene (SEPS) block copolymer having Mw of at least 180,000 and polystyrene content of 25-45 weight percent, and at least 300 parts by weight percent, and at least 300 parts by weight of extender liquid per 100 parts by weight of the block copolymer. The extender softens the ethylene/propylene mid-blocks of the copolymer and the resulting gels have unexpectedly higher tack, temperature resistance, and extender-retaining ability than corresponding gels made with styrene(ethylene/butylene)-styrene block copolymers.

    Abstract: Gels made of 100 parts of Styrene-elastomer-styrene triblock copolymers and more than 300 parts of an oil which softens and extends the elastomer mid-block of the copolymer are rendered resistant to oil exudation under pressure by incorporation of a styrene-elastomer diblock copolymer. Preferred triblocks are styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene and preferred diblocks are styrene-ethylene/propylene. Use of the gels as sealants in enclosures for electrical connections designed to hold the gel under compression is disclosed.

    Abstract: A method for testing a test architecture in a circuit is accomplished by receiving or generating, based on the topology information for the circuit, a Boundary Scan Description Language (BSDL) description of the test architecture which is then verified for correct syntax, consistency, and standard compliance. Next, one or more tests are selected from a predetermined set of test methodologies, based on the type of testing to be performed. Self-checking test parameters are generated based on the BSDL description and the selected tests. Using these test parameters, a logic simulation algorithm tests the test architecture of the circuit and generates a report detailing any errors that are discovered.

    Abstract: Gels of hard-elastomer-hard block copolymers with at least 300 parts of extending liquid per 100 parts of the copolymer contain at least 50 parts (per 100 parts of copolymer) of a stabilizing additive which resists migration of PVC plasticizers into the gel when in contact with a plasticized PVC article. Styrene-(ethylene-butylene)-styrene triblock copolymers with organic phosphate stabilizers are preferred, these stabilizers tending to raise the gel softening temperature.

    Abstract: In a cryptographic module, a User Defined Function (UDF) facility is provided which provides users with the capability of defining and creating custom functions to meet their cryptographic processing needs. The cryptographic module is contained within a physically and logically secure environment and comprises a processing unit and memory connected to the processing unit. The memory includes code for translating User Defined Functions (UDFs) into a machine-readable form and at least one command for operating on the UDFs. The UDFs are loaded into and executed in the secure area of the cryptographic module without compromising the total security of the transaction security system.
