  • Publication number: 20220414785
Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods for structuring the financing of high cost therapies such as GCTs to address the issues of high-upfront cost (affordability), uncertain durability of the treatment, and portability/transferability of the liability. In certain embodiments, the systems and methods described herein involve a combination of (a) a uniquely-designed, multi-year structured loan that facilitates portability, (b) a performance-based guarantee of efficacy in the form of a value based agreement that may be tied to the tenure of the loan, and/or (c) securitization of the loan.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 28, 2022
    Publication date: December 29, 2022

  • Patent number: 6687315
Abstract: The invention provides a single chip implementation of a digital receiver for multicarrier signals that are transmitted by orthogonal frequency division multiplexing. Improved channel estimation and correction circuitry are provided. The receiver has highly accurate sampling rate control and frequency control circuitry. BCH decoding of tps data carriers is achieved with minimal resources with an arrangement that includes a small Galois field multiplier. An improved FFT window synchronization circuit is coupled to the resampling circuit for locating the boundary of the guard interval transmitted with the active frame of the signal. A real-time pipelined FFT processor is operationally associated with the FFT window synchronization circuit and operates with reduced memory requirements.

  • Patent number: 4164155
Abstract: A multi-range synchronous shifting concentric gear train package having two inputs and a single output which when connected to a mechanical input and to the output of an infinitely variable drive device (shown as a hydrostatic component) powered by the same mechanical input with the input axes aligned with the center of rotation of the components of the gear package forms an all concentric multi-range synchronous shifting hydro-mechanical transmission. The combination of the same gear train package with mechanical and hydrostatic inputs in combination with right and left output planetary gear sets and a hydrostatic steer arrangement powered by the same mechanical input forms a hydromechanical steering transmission having a concentric gear train package. Gear train elements for exchanging the rotational movement of inner and outer shafts of a set of concentric shafts to permit implementation of the concentric gear train package are also disclosed in detail.

  • Patent number: 4036344
Abstract: A low loss, multiple element wet clutch mechanism for connecting two mechanical members to each other wherein the two members are concentric about a common axis and either or both are supported for rotation about the common axis. The connection is made by clutch elements which are forced together by an actuator. Clutch elements on one side of the interface are keyed to one member to limit rotational movement about the axis to that of the member while clutch elements on the other side of the interface are keyed to a rotating annular carrier element carried by the second member. A second annular element mounted on the same member as the carrier is keyed to the member for rotational movement about the axis but is free to translate axially of the member to engage the rotating annular carrier element to key the clutch elements carried by it to that member. A clutch engaging actuator when actuated first causes the two annular elements to engage and thereafter the clutch elements.
