    Abstract: A lightweight rack structure is provided for use in a space station. The rack includes a deployable/folding rigid front frame including two side rails and upper and lower cross members connected to the two side rails. A flexible shell is connected to the front frame. The shell includes an upper wall portion, a lower wall portion, a pair of side wall portions and a rear wall portion. Support members are provided to support the flexible shell in a deployed position.
