Abstract: A garment hanger includes a garment support structure having first and second arms arranged for supporting the opposed shoulders of a garment. These two arms are rigid and in a fixed relation to each other. A hook member is included and configured for suspending the hanger from a support structure, and a means or structure is provided for coupling the hook member to the garment support structure enabling both the first and second arms to rotate in substantially a same plane about a generally horizontal pivot axis.
