  • Patent number: 10619793
Abstract: An oil conditioner is provided for removing impurities from oil, such as water, fuel and glycol, to increase engine life and efficiency. An evaporator assembly includes an upper plate, a lower plate, with a heater unit sandwiched between the two. To increase the efficiency of the evaporator assembly, materials are selected so that the upper plate thermal conductivity property is greater than the lower plate thermal conductivity property; and, optionally, the lower plate includes a reflective surface to direct thermal radiation toward the upper plate. This unique design enables oil conditioning with reduced power consumption and improved heating compared to existing technology.
