  • Patent number: 9056327
Abstract: A modular plural component spray system configured for drawing at least two components, each stored in a discrete drum and sending the at least two components to a spray gun. The spray system comprises at least two flow lines. Each flow line includes a pump, a counter configured to measure the work performed by the pump and a heater disposed outside of each discrete drum downstream from the pump, where each of the two flow lines is configured to be connected at a first end to the spray gun and a second end to each discrete drum and each of the at least two components is drawn from each discrete drum and heated with the heater before arriving at the spray gun to be mixed and dispensed.

  • Patent number: 8931715
Abstract: A plural component spray nozzle comprising a nozzle block having two feed passageway and a main passageway. The main passageway is configured to receive one material through each feed passageway. There is a receiver block having two receiver channels. Each receiver channel comprises an entry port on one end and an exit port on another end. The receiver block is configured to selectively receive the nozzle block in actuated or blocked position. In the actuated position, the exit ports of the receiver channels are fluidly connected with their corresponding feed passageways. In the blocked position, the exit ports of receiver channels are fluidly blocked with their corresponding feed passageways.

  • Patent number: 8602751
Abstract: A transfer pump includes a motor that attaches to a manifold with a motor mount that seals a top end of the manifold. The motor mount includes a tubular portion that extends into and threadably engages the manifold, to cooperatively define a channel therethrough. The manifold includes a plurality of inlet ports arranged generally in an annular pattern. An inner cylinder attaches to the manifold from below, disposed radially inward from the inlet ports, and a pressure cylinder attaches to the manifold, disposed radially outward from the inlet ports. The pressure cylinder includes a foot valve. A pump shaft extends from the motor, through the channel, and into the pressure cylinder. A large piston with a check valve is attached to the distal end of the shaft, and a small piston disposed in the inner cylinder is attached at an intermediate location.

  • Patent number: 8011898
Abstract: A pump (100) includes a pump block (102) including a heater (140), a middle block member (120) and an upper block member (122). Cylinder sleeves (130) are disposed between the middle and upper block members, and a piston assembly (160) is disposed in the block with pistons (162) reciprocatingly disposed in the cylinder sleeves. A drive motor (90) drives a twin gear assembly (170) and slave gears (168) to drive the pistons. Headers (104, 105) channel fluid from an external source to the cylinder sleeves, and from the cylinder sleeves to the heater. The heater includes a plurality of heaters such as cartridge heaters (150) that heat the received fluid. In the preferred device, A-side and B-side component are simultaneously pumped. The heater includes A-side and B-side flow paths for heating the components. The pressurized fluid(s) is dispensed through outlets (108, 110).
