  • Patent number: 10192404
Abstract: A jackpot wager that a player may qualify for as long as the player is playing on any of the designated games and places a jackpot wager. A player may participate in the jackpot while playing Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker or Baccarat and may either win a portion, percentage or the entire jackpot based on the qualifying hand dealt. The jackpot is not limited to the individual premise and may encompass multiple premises. The jackpot is not limited to the games listed but may be attached to all games to hands similar in frequency of being dealt. Card games are often now played in an electronic format online or utilizing an electronic gaming cabinet or video poker type machine. The present invention relates to a game that can be played both in the traditional format using a deck of cards or in an electronic format.

  • Patent number: 10173605
Abstract: An entertainment system including a removable seat-back display unit and a docking station. The seat-back display unit can include a rotating latch butterfly release mechanism that prevents unauthorized release of the display unit from the docking station. The system can include a three-point attachment system that provides additional protection against accidental detachment of the display unit, and provide safety in the event of partial dislodging. The system can include a current control pin system that ensures that current is not provided from the docking station to the display unit until the respective connectors have been properly engaged. The system can further include a floating pin connector dock that can allow for installation of the display unit even when the connectors of the display unit and docking station become misaligned. The system can also include a heat dissipation system that employs the docking station to share the heat dissipation load with the display unit.

  • Patent number: 9841375
Abstract: Systems for measuring optical properties of a specimen are disclosed. The systems are configured to sample signals related to the measurement of the properties of a specimen, and perform software-based coherent detection of the signals to generate resulting measurements are based on the signals acquired at substantially the same time instance. This facilitates the displaying or generating of the desired measurements in real time. In one configuration, the system is configured to direct a modulated light signal at a selected wavelength incident upon a specimen. In another configuration, the system is configured to direct a combined light signal, derived from a plurality of light signals at different wavelengths and modulated with different frequencies, incident upon a specimen. In yet another configuration, the system is configured to direct a plurality of light signals modulated with different frequencies incident upon different regions of a specimen.

  • Publication number: 20170305583
Abstract: A stretch wrap applicator includes one or more cutting members arranged to engage the stretch wrap to cut it into strips as it is dispensed from the roll. The strips are then gathered and stretched into strings that are wrapped around the object. A roller is biased toward the stretch wrap roll to ensure an even flow of stretch film from the roll and more consistent tension on the film dispensed from the roll. The roller includes a groove. A cutting member is disposed to rest in the groove such that stretch film passes over and around the roller as it is dispensed from the roll and then engages the cutting member in the grove before the stretch film separates from the roller.
