Abstract: A semiconductor device has first and second current terminals and a control terminal that can be biased to form an electrically conductive path from the first current terminal to the second current terminal through a channel region is provided with a temperature-sensitive current limiting device. Based on quantified aspects related to a product and its supplier (or supply chain), a total cost of ownership related to such product or supplier can be determined. Moreover, such as capability may be related to overall return on investment.
