  • Patent number: 11969167
Abstract: A system for implant delivery includes an implant and an inserter. The implant includes a body that extends between first and second ends. The implant includes retainers extending outwardly from the first and second ends. The retainers are received in corresponding jaws of the inserter. When the implant is connected to the inserter and the inserter is actuated, the implant elastically deforms.

  • Patent number: 9676261
Abstract: The subject invention provides for a weatherstrip assembly for sealing between a frame and a closure member of a vehicle. The assembly includes a trim portion having a body and a flange extending from the body. The flange is capable of moving between an initial position and a final position. A seal extends from the body for abutting and sealing the closure member. An adhesive is disposed on the body for coupling the trim portion to the frame. The adhesive is disposed opposite the seal such that the seal extends away from the adhesive. A retaining member is selectively mounted to the flange and spaced from the adhesive for selectively engaging the frame to selectively hold the flange in the initial position relative to the frame. The retaining member is removed from the flange while concurrently moving the flange toward the final position.

  • Patent number: 6306052
Abstract: A catching device for releasably catching a throwing toy is provided with bristles which can hold the throwing toy on contact even under conditions of high velocity and low-grazing angle of impact. The throwing toy has a plurality of looped filaments, joined at a core region by a wire cinch. The filaments radiate in plural angularly offset planes in a dense, bushy configuration from the core region. The catching device includes a base with a generally convex front outer surface and configured to be held adjacent a user's hand. A plurality of bristles are attached to the base, each having a proximal end adjacent the base and extending from the base to a distal end opposite the proximal end. The bristles are substantially straight from the proximal end to the distal end and are configured to catch the toy when the toy is thrown into contact with the bristles and to hold the toy on contact by engaging the looped filaments of the toy.
