  • Patent number: 10155399
Abstract: A system for printing a label for a molded object is provided. The system includes a molding machine. A mold is provided having a first part and a second part, the mold being removably coupled to the molding machine. The mold first part and second part being movable between an open and closed position. An RFID module is coupled to the mold first part. An RFID reader is arranged to receive a signal from the RFID module when the mold first part is in the closed position. A controller is operably coupled to the RFID reader, wherein the controller includes a processor that is responsive for receiving an object identification data in response to the RFID reader receiving the signal from the RFID module. A printer configured to print a label including the object identification data in response to the controller receiving the signal.

  • Publication number: 20160031133
Abstract: A foam molding system and method of operation are provided. The foam molding system includes a molding assembly configured to mix a plurality of constituent materials to form a molding material. A dispenser is operably coupled to receive the molding material. A carrier is positioned to receive the molding material from the dispenser, the carrier being removably coupled to the foam molding machine. An RFID module is coupled to the carrier. An RFID reader is arranged to receive a signal from the RFID module when the carrier is arranged in the foam molding machine. A controller is operably coupled to the RFID reader and the molding assembly, wherein the controller includes a processor that is responsive to executable computer instructions for changing molding parameters in response to the RFID reader receiving the signal from the RFID module.

  • Patent number: 4570283
Abstract: A windshield wiper system includes a transmission shaft on a vehicle body rotatable about an axis thereof through a wipe arc, a drive plate on the transmission shaft perpendicular to the axis, a wiper support arm rotatable with the drive plate and radially shiftable relative to the axis, a scissors linkage pivoted at one end in the transmission shaft and connected at the opposite end to the support arm, and a cam channel on the vehicle body in which is received a follower connected to the scissors linkage at a control pivot of the latter between the ends thereof. As the transmission shaft angularly oscillates, the drive plate and wiper arm and the latter, in turn, angularly oscillates the scissors linkage, the cam channel causes the follower to radially displace the scissors linkage control pivot so that the scissors linkage expands and contracts and concurrently radially extends and retracts the wiper arm thereby to vary the radial reach thereof.

  • Patent number: 4028950
Abstract: A windshield wiper mechanism in which a depressed park control linkage is disposed between the transmission drive link and the wiper drive shaft. The park control linkage is controlled by a solenoid and pin which maintains one angular relation between the linkage members during wiper operation and permits movement of the linkage, by the force on the transmission drive link, to another angular relation for parking the wipers out of the operator's vision. The park linkage is a unit separate from the power mechanism, i.e., electric motor and gear reduction, and the transmission links, so that different park angles can be accommodated for different vehicles by merely changing the park linkage while the remaining structure of the mechanism is unchanged.
