  • Patent number: 5042542
Abstract: A gauge (40) for use with a router table assembly (10) to accommodate bit and fence settings thereon. The router table assembly has a table work surface (18) which includes a fence (32) which is adjustable longitudinally of the work surface and a bit (28) which is adjustable transversely of the work surface. The gauge comprises a frame mounted to a side of the router table assembly, the frame is capable of being moved to an operative location adjacent to the work surface in which position adjustment of the fence and the bit may be made and to an inoperative position away from the router surface in which position the surface is clear for router work.

  • Patent number: 4718797
Abstract: A chuck key pad (10) disclosed has a unitary construction that is snapped onto an associated chuck key to permit application of a greater torque than would otherwise be possible during tightening and loosening of a chuck. The pad (10) includes a body (28) having a central hole (30) that receives the conventinal shaft of the chuck key and also includes spaced retainers (32) that engage the chuck key handle on opposite sides of its shaft upon mounting such that locking portions (34) of the retainers resiliently deflect over the handle with a snap action. In its preferred construction, the pad body (28) includes a central portion (36) defining the shaft hole (30) and also includes a pair of opposite end portions (38) including spaced pairs of the retainers (32). An elongated groove (40) extends through the central portion (36) and the end portions (38) of the pad to receive the key handle.

  • Patent number: 4130210
Abstract: A self-propelled dolly for moving (towing or pushing) a tricycle landing gear-type airplane which includes a nose wheel journaled on a depending strut; the dolly embodying--on a manually controlled, wheel-supported, reversibly power driven mobile frame--a vertically power adjustable ramp at the forward end of the mobile frame adapted to receive and elevate said nose wheel preparatory to moving the airplane from one location to another, and a forwardly projecting, power-actuated, universally mounted hook unit on the mobile frame adapted to engage and pull on the strut whereby to draw the nose wheel onto the ramp when lowered, and--while remaining in strut-engagement--holding the strut against accidental escape of the nose wheel from the ramp when raised for moving the airplane by the dolly.

  • Patent number: 4123195
Abstract: A chuck key holder in which a manual force is applied to handles of clamp members on one side of a drill chuck to position a chuck key that is rotatably mounted on a support to which the clamp members are pivoted in properly located spanning engagement with the chuck on its other side. Spring biasing of the clamp members from the closed clamping position about the chuck toward an open position moves ejecting portions of the clamp members against the chuck to automatically withdraw the chuck key once the manual force is released from the handles. Clamping portions of the clamp members are located between the handles and the axes of pivotal connection between the support and the clamp members. Partially circular clamping surfaces of the clamping portions have first ends adjacent the ejecting portions and second ends adjacent stops on the clamp members for limiting the extent of closing movement without the chuck between the clamp members.

  • Patent number: 4050697
Abstract: A game based on retrieval of randomly positioned game articles employs a housing containing such articles along with a filler material of light weight, such as polystyrene spheres, in order to have the filler material of relatively lesser specific weight and the game articles of relatively greater specific weight. The housing, provided with access apertures, is vibrated as to thereby cause the game articles to be randomly positioned within the housing as well as randomly positioned with respect to such access apertures. The players, following particular related game rules, in turn, employing related retrieval appliances, attempt to retrieve the game articles through such access apertures without benefit of being able to visually locate such game articles which are covered by the filler material.
