    Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a windshield assembly for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The windshield assembly includes a plate and a shield, where the shield is attached to the plate by one or more fasteners such that the shield and plate define a channel. The channel is configured to accept an attachment portion of a vehicle, and the plate is capable of being attached to the vehicle using one or more fasteners that engage the attachment portion and the plate, whereby no portion of the one or more fasteners is visible from the front side of the windshield assembly when the attachment portion is disposed within the channel.
