  • Publication number: 20230226109
Abstract: Natural killer cells are differentiated to an intraepithelial innate lymphoid cells (ielLC1)-like cell, with an increase in cytotoxic activity. Specifically, the disclosure provides a method for differentiating mammalian natural killer cells to adapt an ielLC1-like phenotype, the method comprising: differentiating peripheral natural killer (NK) cells in the presence of IL-15 and epithelial cells or plate coatings that mimic features of epithelial cells, to generate CD49a+ CD103+ cells having features and phenotype of ielLC1s, with enhanced cytotoxic activity and expression of Th1 type cytokines.

  • Publication number: 20110082960
Abstract: There are provided a serial bus communication method and a bus interface device showing excellent performance when a medium with low conductivity is used. The serial bus communication method includes: retrieving available transmission rate to a destination node to which data will be transmitted from a transmission rate table whenever transmitting data through a bus; setting data rate for transmitting the data to the destination node by using the retrieved available transmission rate when the available transmission rate to the destination node is retrieved in the transmission rate table; and transmitting the data at the data rate. Accordingly, transmission performance is improved on a network using a medium with low conductivity.

  • Publication number: 20100245118
Abstract: There are provided a multimodal fusion apparatus capable of remotely controlling a number of electronic devices and a method for remotely controlling a number of electronic devices in the multimodal fusion apparatus. In accordance with the present invention, instead of one input device, such as a remote control or the like, multimodal commands, such as user-familiar voice, gesture and the like, are used to remotely control a number of electronic devices equipped at home or within a specific space. That is, diverse electronic devices are controlled in the same manner by the multimodal commands. When a new electronic device is added, control commands thereof are automatically configured to control the new electronic device.

  • Patent number: 7753686
Abstract: The present invention relates to a velcro connector, which uses a hook of a velcro tape attached to a garment, etc. and a loop to transfer electric signals by being electrically connected upon coupling the hook and the loop. With the present invention, the difficulty of the line connection upon implementing electronic circuits on a garment can be solved by providing an integrated connector rather than separately mounting a mechanical connector on a garment. Therefore, it makes it possible to easily implement a wearable computer by using an integrated connector on a garment, etc. In addition, a plurality of electronic circuits mounted on a garment, etc. and the existing electronic devices are freely connected to each other by providing the connector that can be easily separated and coupled, thereby making it possible to increase user convenience.

  • Publication number: 20090241171
Abstract: A wearable system and a method for transferring and controlling information/service based on biologically generated information from a user are provided. In the method, an intuitive bio signal generated by a user is sensed and a device pointed by the sensed bio signal is selected. Then, bio signal information is created using the sensed bio signal and the generated bio signal information is transmitted to the selected device. After transmitting, the information/service is transferred to the selected device after confirming that the selected device that receives the bio signal information is activated.
