    Abstract: The present technology is directed to providing enhanced capacity for tenants in a neutral host network (NHN) via multi-connectivity such as dual connectivity or carrier aggregation. The present technology can identify, at a small cell gateway, signaling traffic passing from an access network to a respective core network of an NHN operating at mid-band frequencies and add an interface between the small cell gateway of the NHN and a base station of a tenant network operating at low-band frequencies to establish dual connectivity. Furthermore, the present technology can establish a radio resource control (RRC) connection in a primary cell residing in a macro network operating at low-band frequencies and add, at a fronthaul gateway, one or more secondary cells in a small cell network operating at mid-band frequencies to enable carrier aggregation of the one or more secondary cells with the primary cell the small cell network.

First, a first ringing suppressor in a first branch of an amplifier may cancel interference from a second branch of the amplifier using a transmitted signal from the second branch as a reference. The first ringing suppressor may also cancel echo interference from the first branch of the amplifier using an output of the first ringing suppressor in the first branch as a reference. Furthermore, a second ringing suppressor in the second branch of the amplifier may cancel interference from the first branch of the amplifier using a transmitted signal from the first branch as a reference. Furthermore, the second ringing suppressor may cancel echo interference from the second branch of the amplifier using an output of the second ringing suppressor in the second branch as a reference.

Next, a second plurality of packets may be placed in a second queue associated with the service flow in response to determining that the second plurality of packets corresponding to the service flow are associated with a second quality of service level. The first plurality of packets in the first queue may then be serviced from the plurality of grants until all the first plurality of packets in the first queue are serviced before servicing any of the second plurality of packets in the second queue with remaining ones of the plurality of grants.

    Abstract: An example apparatus for supporting digital pre-distortion (DPD) and full duplex (FDX) in cable network environments is provided and includes a first path for signals being transmitted out of the apparatus, a second path for signals being received into the apparatus, a DPD actuator located on the first path, an amplifier located on the first path, an echo cancellation (EC) actuator located on the second path, and a data interface including a plurality of channels connecting the apparatus to a signal processor. DPD coefficients, EC coefficients and delay parameters are provided over the data interface from the signal processor to the apparatus. The DPD actuator predistorts signals on the first path using the DPD coefficients compensating for distortions introduced by the amplifier, and the EC actuator reduces interferences in signals on the second path using the EC coefficients and the delay parameters, facilitating FDX communication by the apparatus.
